About

"Pollution is nothing but the resources we are not harvesting. We allow them to be dispersed because we've been ignorant of their value."

We are all sadly only too aware of the effect that mankind is having on our planet, it's wildlife and habitats.

Our ethos is to give new life, purpose , functionality and meaning to the old, outdated, unused, unwanted and plain defunct. Using our own unique and distinctive style and take on things our passion is to bring them to you so you can carry on enjoy something that was maybe original enjoyed by its previous owner a 100 years ago. Now that's history.

Never throw anything away as away is still a place, maybe not your place but someone or something's place.

Please note that as part of our sustainability ethos we use second hand packaging wherever possible. If this a gift and you would like it wrapped differently please let us know and we will be happy to oblige.

We are a father and son based in the beautiful County of Cornwall and as such we are fortunate to have access to some of the countries finest beaches and all the flotsam, jetsam and "treasures"that the sea gives up.
It all started as a way of us to spend some quality time together in our busy life's but has now turned into the business we are today.

Our name came about over the dinner table one night, we used to store our finds in the garage, much to the annoyance of my wife. "What's all that.....! in the garage?" Well the rest is history as they say. Allcrap was born! The CRAP bit standing for Chic, Recycled,Artisan, Pieces.

We are interested in collaborating with designers, interior specialists and companies that share the same passion as us in creating unique one off creations using items found or salvaged around our shores, combined with items sourced elsewhere to recycle, upcycle and repurposed unique items for the home, workplace or garden. We pride ourselves on taking the mundane, the unloved, outdated and/or broken and giving it a new purpose or function within today's world. When creating we try to allow the products or materials that we use to dictate what shape, size and final purpose the item we are making will take.we try not to cut or trim driftwood to make items of a certain bespoke size, we allow the size of the driftwood to determine the size and indeed structure of what we create. It's as much about the needs of the material as our need to create. So a mirror for instance will have natural raw and original ends and may be of a non symmetrical form. After all, nature in its natural state is many things but predictably is not one of them.

These items have a history, a past and with inventive upcycling , a future. It is vital to protect, celebrate and pass on the history of these items to the new keeper. We are all only the temporary custodian of these items. We are also happy to discuss bespoke collaborations whenever possible. Please get in touch we would love to hear from you.

We attend several shows throughout the course of the year. These are something we really enjoy, giving us a chance to interact with people and a great opportunity to show case our creations in the flesh as it were.
Hopefully we will be adding a couple of extra dates this year.
